It is our policy to ship our bikes to local bike shops so a professional can complete the assembly of your Buddy Bike. Please provide the name, address and phone number of your local bike shop when placing your order. You may use any local bike shop that agrees to receive and assemble your Buddy Bike. Bike assembly fees are payable directly to the bike shop.

DELIVERY TIME: 4-6 weeks for Trade-In models.

Kickstand and accessories not included unless otherwise noted. Shipping, handling, sales tax (CA & FL) and bike assembly are additional. Import fees and duty taxes may apply on international orders. All amounts are in USD. Prices and product specifications are subject to change without notice.

Buddy Bike Limited Warranty

Trade-in models do not include our Limited Warranty unless noted otherwise.

Many families obtain grants or medical funding to purchase The Buddy Bike as therapeutic equipment. Visit our Funding page for funding sources and creative funding ideas that have been provided by our Buddy Bike customers and friends. If you are planning to seek funding assistance, this process can take time and our inventory is limited so request a quote now by contacting shelley@bikesforeverybody.com or 786.489.2453.

We are not be able to hold Trade-In models during the funding application process. Due to limited availability, funding may be used for new Buddy Bikes only. 

We ship The Buddy Bike worldwide! The shipping rates in this shop are for continental U.S. orders. For international orders please contact shelley@bikesforeverybody.com.

While adding electric assist to The Buddy Bike can be beneficial for parents who are carrying the full weight of both riders, we do not offer an electric assist option at this time. Some families have added electric assist on their own. We suggest using a local bike shop that specializes in electric assist bicycles so a system can be installed safely. WARNING: Please note that The Buddy Bike is a cruiser-type bicycle that is not intended for high speeds and off-road use.

Trade-in sales are as-is sales. Does not include Limited Warranty. All sales are final.

Trade-in models may not be refurbished prior to shipping. We highly suggest a full tune-up on these bikes and you may opt to upgrade some parts so you should expect to pay more for the bike shop assembly fee. Our Trade-In bikes do not include warranty, unless otherwise noted. The sales are “as-is” sales with no returns or refunds offered. We guarantee the delivery of a complete and rideable bike but there is a risk that the bikes could become damaged in shipping. If repairs are possible, we will handle the repairs with your local bike shop but there is a chance that the bike could become unusable. In that case, we would refund 100% of your money and the bike will not be delivered to you. We would then need to look into other bike model availability.
