Buddy
Bike Family BB102-AL-8 has a metallic burgundy frame and an
8 speed internal hub for pedal-free shifting and easy bike
maintenance. |
Buddy
Bike Family BB102-AL-NU features a
NuVinci N360 CVP drivetrain
that makes shifting gears pedal-free and as simple as
tuning a radio dial. There are no skipped gears or fear
of losing a chain on this maintenance-free hub allowing
parents to focus on enjoying the ride with their child. |
Cycling
enthusiasts and adult riders over 5’8" prefer Buddy Bike
Sport BB104-AL-27. Buddy Bike Sport has a 27 speed
external hub with derailleur providing a wider range of
gears for better climbing, a high polish silver frame
finish, more rear rider leg room than our prior bike
models, disc brakes plus a stoker standard caliper brake for more
braking power, a suspension fork, an upgraded bi-pod
kickstand and thinner, slicker tires for a smoother ride
with less rolling resistance. |

and arm length, these measurements may vary. Please

Captain/adult riders approx. 5'3" to 5'8"
Adult riders/Captains
under 5'5" will find Buddy Bike Family to be most
comfortable due to the lower rear rider seat and lower
top tubes for easier bike mounting. The Buddy Bike may
not be suitable for Captains under 5'3". Trial rides are
suggested.

riders/Captains under 5'5" will find Buddy Bike Family
to be most comfortable due to the lower rear rider seat
and lower top tubes for easier bike mounting. The Buddy

Riders
over 5'8" may find the Buddy Bike Sport to be most
comfortable due to the increased distance between the
seats and the increased seat tube angle which provide
more rear rider leg room and a more comfortable pedaling
position. |

Where can I ride this
bike? |
With 8 internal gears this
bike is best for flat or minimally hilly areas.
Tires are wide enough for stability and have some tread
for gripping on a variety of surfaces but not too much
tread for less rolling
resistance.

This limited edition bike
features a
NuVinci N360 CVP drivetrain on our standard
Buddy Bike Family frame. This bike can be enjoyed in the
same areas as the Family bike and may have a slightly
wider gear range.

Wide
range of gears (27) make this a good bike for hilly
areas. Thinner, slicker tires with puncture resistant
tubes are best on paved surfaces but can handle some other
surfaces. |
